| She earned a scholarship to Kilgore Junior College, and served as a Kilgore Rangerette. |
| After she received her Associates Degree from Kilgore, she earned a scholarship to the University of Mississippi, won the talent portion of the university beauty pageant, and received a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education. Her father died, and her mother married Weldon Victor Dupuis and moved to Mesquite, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. Weldon is a great guy, and wonderful father-in-law, and a loving grandfather to all of our dear children. |
