Kathleen Dickerson Smith
She graduated from Nederland High School in 1978.
"Now, my daughter, do not fear.  I will do for you whatever you ask, for all my people in the city know that you are a woman of excellence."  Ruth 3:11.
Kathleen grows up.
Kathleen is born.
She continued to grow in knowledge, beauty and grace, becoming a very talented musician and dancer, as well as having a gift for numbers.
Kathleen gets married.
She earned a scholarship to Kilgore Junior College, and served as a Kilgore Rangerette. 
After she received her Associates Degree from Kilgore, she earned a scholarship to the University of Mississippi, won the talent portion of the university beauty pageant, and received a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education.  Her father died, and her mother married Weldon Victor Dupuis and moved to Mesquite, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.  Weldon is a great guy, and wonderful father-in-law, and a loving grandfather to all of our dear children.
