A morning update.  Thats a rarity.

Brandon and I rebuilt the steering gear on my truck last week.  The power steering leak that has persisted since we bought the truck back in 98(?) is now gone.  Amazing.  On the other hand, we've been working on his mazda a whole lot, and not a lot of progress.  Trying to get the engine out, but it won't come off the tranny(so we can't pull it by itself), but the tranny won't come out the the car(so we can't pull it with it).  Makes for a interesting project.

Most of you know the status of my mother.  Please continue to pray for her.  You can email me about it at bethelbarnhouse@gmail.com for more details.

I've been listening to Weird Al a lot.  Amish Paradise and Hardware Store are just hilarious!  But Angry White Boy Polka is... well, just that.  lol, that one is prolly the best.  Its a bunch of current hits, set to polka.

I'd post more, but I don't have anything profound to say.

Till next time
Andrew

Father, hear my prayer
I need the perfect words
Words that he will hear
And know they're straight from You
I don't know what to say
I only know it hurts
To see my only friend slowly fade away

So maybe this time I'll speak the words of life
With Your fire in my eyes
But that old familiar fear is tearing at my words
What am I so afraid of?

'Cause here I go again
Talkin 'bout the rain
And mulling over things that won't live past today
And as I dance around the truth
Time is not his friend
This might be my last chance to tell him
That You love Him
But here I go again, here I go again
---Casting Crowns, Here I Go Again---

I feel like this soo much.  How am I supposed to make disciples of all nations, when I can't even tell the grocery store clerk how he needs God?

Looking for the words,
Andrew

This post is brought to you courtesy of my very dear friends who somehow got me to promise to update this thing by Wednesday.  Basically, its all their fault.
------------

I'm sorry I've not been a consistent blogger.  I don't know that anyone reads this anymore because they never know if I will update it.  Someday I'll fix this.  I've just been really busy.

God is been so amazing.  I'm constantly flabbergasted at how much he's blessed me.  I feel like I'm standing in a texas gully-washer(for you non-texans, that means a LOT of rain) of blessings....  Just can't explain it.  Why does he care so much for a sinner like me?

Just so you know, I did get my truck fixed.  And then it broke again.  Its not like I did a bad job fixin' it, I just didn't antisipate how bad the piston rings were - it being a 200k mile truck with a 4-cyl engine.  Its still drive-able, but you can't really go more then 45mph.

But the good new is that just last sunday, Amy and I bought a car.  Its a 1999 Hyundai Tiburon, with a 2.0L 4-cyl engine.  We got it for a song, because it has a blown head gaskett, and a warped head.  I just took the head off tonight with the help of Brandon, and I'll be takin it to the machine shop tomorrow.  Should be up and running by the end of the week.

About the fact that all the pics I have on the site are from last year or the year before, that is soon to be rectified.  I took 2,000 pics for IBLP durring the Big Sandy conference, and many of those are likely to be on the site.  Soon.

Soon is a relative term.  Next year may be soon.  Its sooner then if it was 10 years from now, right?

Bought 'Lifesong' off iTunes finaly.  Haven't finished downloading it.  Takes FOREVER...  iTunes is amazing though.  I'm lovin' it.  ;-)  Been getting random stuff of there, like half of Les Miserables hightlights, and almost half of the Phantom of the Opera.  Its great.  You all need it.

I'll post something else soon guys, but I'm so beat.  Been fighting with a car for the past 4 hours, and that was only what I was doing in the evening.  Ooo... I just remembered.  I spent almost $160 today.  That hurt.  Feels like plunging a knife through my innnermost being.  Maybe I'm a little too attached to my cash.  Then again, maybe I'm too loose with it.... Hm..

I'll debate that in the morning.  G'night all y'all!  God bless and keep you all!

Your Brother in Christ,
Andrew
